Imagine your entire life being about the worst thing you’ve ever been accused of.

My name is Michael Flinner. I am a 40—some Jewish widowed father of one and former general contractor from Southern California. I am writing to you from the haunting empty confine of America’s largest and most notorious Death Row. San Quentin State Prison.

From this tiny cell neither blind nor insensitive to the world around me, I’m a man whose level of compassion remains a weakness my captors will never embrace.

With egg on my face and working to restore this terribly-damaged reputation, letting go of the ashes means beginning each new day as if it were on purpose. These painstaking efforts emanate from a sound desire to foster my socially-conscious rehabilitative giving sense of community while molded for survival by the onerous rigors I confront---------faithfully fighting for what is left of this wayward life.

Nothing remotely illustrates the demand for non-lethal alternatives to punishment, more than the disturbingly large number of Death Row inmates across this Nation (and others),whom have been effectively exonerated, some within mere hours of being put to death.

Today, I welcome your patronage as I fan the vulnerable flames of inspiration so that the benevolent fires within me continue to burn.

Taking a life to show how much we as civilized societies value life, represents imposing contradictions in logic of monumental proportion.

Despite your personal convictions associated with Capital Punishment’s political climate, no doubt, a fate worse than death would be failing to address government-sanctioned murder, fair humane responses to the needs of both victims of crime as well as their respective perpetrators and setting others “Free” from that which afflicts them.

In pursuit of productive and enriching communal ambitions, I urge you to visit www.michaelflinner.org where I trust you’ll advance my desire to become vocal and visible in the single greatest blessing I have ever received.

Cautiously optimistic that the errors of my past may blossom into the generous wisdom of the future, I invite advice, spiritual guidance, and nominal relief to aid in my rewarding aspirations.

I constantly find myself exhausted with the unending search for help in exposing this site to the world, individuals and organizations whom vehemently oppose Capital Punishment, as well as those who may otherwise find themselves undecided.

Taking a life to show how much we as a society value life, is much like destroying embryos to acquire life-saving stem cells, represents a contradiction in logic that can never be reconciled.

Nothing remotely illustrates the need for non-lethal alternatives to punishment. There are a disturbingly large number of death row inmates across this nation, whom have been exonerated, some within mere hours of being executed.

Pledge a token of your solidarity directly into my prison inmate trust account at www.JPAY.com ; or purchase and mail postage stamps from www.USPS.com Equally these venues are secure acceptable forms of support at this facility. I need all of the help today that I can muster.

After you visit me online, take a moment to place me on your mailing list and Homepage.
